Duties and responsibilities

  • The HRAM will supervise and control all the Human Resources and Administration functions.
  • Direct and guide Administration and Human Resources Management and ensure that policies and procedures are in line with the law
  • Coordinate the allocation and effective use of the human and material resources in the organization to meet overall organizational objectives
  • Conduct HR analysis to determine the requirements and utilization of human resources at the organization level
  • Conduct staff performance appraisals
  • Arrange meetings for the Board of Directors in consultation with the Country Director
  • Formulate and develop policies for attracting, retaining and motivating employees to higher performance levels through the development of innovative renumeration and reward packages
  • Develop and implement staff disciplinary grievance procedures and policies in line with the labour laws
  • Maintain an up-to-date staff database Preform such other official duties as may be required from time to time

Academic Qualifications and Experience

  • Possession of a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and/or Public Administration from the University of Malawi or any other accredited institution plus at least three (3) years at Senior Management Level (SML)
  • Knowledge of performance measurement systems will be a must


Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a corporate Communications Strategy for MANEPO.
  • Establish and maintain regular communication with stakeholders and partners
  • Disseminate accurate, reliable and relevant information to the public
  • Serve as MANEPO’s spokesperson and effectively manage media relations
  • Continually monitor and analyze groundbreaking news relating to older men and women both on the national and international scenes
  • Prepare talking points for the Board Chairperson/Country Director from time to time
  • Facilitate implementation of MANEPO’s Communication Strategy including its standardization and quality assurance
  • Manage documentation of case and digital stories for all MANEPO programmes

Academic Qualifications and Experience

  • The desired candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Mass Communications, Business Administration and Journalism with at least three (3) years’ experience in office management and/or public relations at a senior management level
  • Must be proficient in standard computer applications


    Duties and responsibilities

    • Maintaining the account reporting process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of ledgers and all supporting documentation and compliance with finance and procurement regulations
    • Manages the daily cash funds in accordance with MANEPO’s guidelines for management of cash accounts and ensures proper entry into the cashbook accounting package
    • Prepare vouchers in accordance with standard operational procedures to enable authorisation for payments
    • Processes the reimbursement of travel expenses (travel claim settlements) if requested
    • Process collection of reimbursement of private miles/calls in accordance with the project internal operational procedure
    • Supports to processes all kind of invoice and other financial requirements

    Academic Qualifications and Experience

    • Degree in Accounting or Finance with three (3) years of work experience
    • Practical knowledge of MS Office Products, SAGE Accounting or any similar computerized accounting system
    • Experience with an NGO working environment and donor funded projects
    • High moral, ethical and professional standards
